In today's market, it's never been easier to turn your business idea into a reality, but, even with all the tools available, the actual running of the business continues to be a difficult endeavor. This could be because you have all the expertise you need for your mission, but you lack experience in general business practices. Or maybe you know exactly what you need, but you don't have the time to get it done or the funds to bring someone in full time to do it.
Schools, non-profits, and small businesses deal with these realities on a daily basis. Without some form of financially accessible support, these organizations are often forced to compromise on quality of services, efficient workflows, hiring the right people (and keeping them), and workplace culture. This can lead to stunted growth of the business, high employee turnover, burnout, and pessimism about the business or mission value.
The temptation is to view these sometimes intangible, organizational qualities as less important than the delivery of the customer promise, but it's a short term view. You know (and we know) that, at some point, it all hits the fan. The question is when, and the anxiety of that unknown pervades everything.
The market reality is most consulting firms have a ready-made delivery for you, but no organization is the exact same. Each has its own identity, its own reason for existing, its own people. Additionally, the cost of delivery for many of these firms is high. Most organizations can't afford the price point let alone justify an expensive, impersonal relationship for very real and often very personal needs.
In short, we offer affordable, customizable support for your business from specific recommendations about your workflow to providing concrete deliverables in service to your culture or process management.
We have the ability to serve your business in two different fashions: Consulting & Implementation.
In the first, we do a deep dive with you and your team about the nature of the need(s) or issue(s). Our consultative package can include discussions with leadership, interviews with staff and/or clients, a "culture audit", site visits & ride-alongs, and whatever else it takes to understand your business, your brand, and your needs. Every Consulting relationship is completed with a full presentation that includes a tailored set of recommendations, next steps, what you can do for yourself, and what you may need to outsource.
Our implementation side is about managing and providing concrete deliverables that immediately add value. Let's say you've designated a team of staff and/or volunteers to increase student population by 40% by next school year. They're excited but have no idea where to start. WDW can be retained to sit on that committee. Or, you know you need better strategy and messaging for your fundraising campaign. We can write it for you. Maybe you want training for your team on how to make your mission statement more present in your organization's actions. We can lead it - virtually or face-to-face.
Our services are geared toward giving you the clarity to see the best way forward and then helping you get there. We want you to get to the business of your business.

Harris & Clair are followers of the Catholic faith. "Wine Dark" is a Homeric reference to tumultuous seas, and the imagery of the "wine" and "waters" hearkens to Christ's offering for our salvation. It's with Him in the stormy waters that peace is found. We hope that WDW's service helps you find it.
